Marketing Assistant wanted for a rapidly expanding company in Bishop’s Stortford with great progression & development opportunities (they are one of the fastest growing companies in Europe!).
You will be responsible for providing support in several areas of marketing, assisting in social media scheduling, events, copywriting, PR & communications. This includes:
- Assisting the social media strategy by scheduling content and account engagement
- Events support including exhibitions
- Assisting in copywriting for various formats including, press releases and articles
- Adapting writing style to fit content mediums
This is a fairly junior/entry level role, but despite not needing a huge amount of experience, you will need the correct attributes to succeed. These include:
- An A-Level or equivalent in English language or Media Studies
- A fast learner
- Clear and effective communicator
- Enthusiasm
- Persistence
- Proactive & using your initiative
- Design experience (Indesign, llustrator & Photoshop or the equivalent) – ideal
- Photography – ideal
- Some relevant experience in marketing/media/writing – ideal
In return, my client will be offering a salary of £17,000 – £20,000 (depending on experience/qualification), but the main selling point is the opportunity to learn, progress & develop with an expanding company.
